Hi Jiou0962, I wore "business casual" - smart trousers, leather shoes, business shirt and a smart jumper (it was winter).
My internal and the chair wore full suit, external wore jeans and a baggy old jumper that looked like it had been used for gardening :)
I didn't feel out of place at all. I think your suggestion is perfect.

Borders employees are allowed to wear t-shirts as long as they are not offensive (not political, religion, sexual or drug orientated), jeans as long as the don't have tears or rips, clean clothes, the shirt has to be tucked in, managers can't wear shorts, no one can wear open toed shoes or hats, etc.
