I think Luigi (to be blunt) you don't really have a grasp of the economics of the London property rental market (or you have a gargantuan studentship).

All I would say is all the aforementioned UK Universities will gladly take your money Its a business), but this is no guarantee (at all) of getting employment (certainty not in the UK computing industry as things stand).

I'd think very careful about financing such a venture therefore. The UK economy is (sadly) undoubtedly heading into a recession. There are also huge numbers of UK/EU citizens with your proposed background (and better). To obtain employment an employer will have to demonstrate that you bring more to the table than them. Trusting you can see where I'm heading with all this.

Unfortunately, probably not Tammy. I've been reading this forum man and boy and posts like this come up very (VERY) regularly. Hardly any seem to find funding. You may want to read back through the forum for similar queries any their ideas. Bottom line, it will probably come down to some combination of borrowing/working. Sorry.
