Try going to a Postgraduate open day or two, and chatting with the staff concerned (they kick-off about now). Might give you a better idea as to where you stand.

The very bottom line is almost certaintly not. Even the cattle markets of UCLan, Manchester Met, etc. require a 2.1 (2.2 with some talking your way in). You may also have stood a chance with some considerable (3yrs) relevant work experience, but straight from a undergrad degree its very unlikely.

I don't think the stumbling block is the grades as much as me_here is not a UK (EU?) citizen. The two together though arguably is a killer.

Overseas EU or non-EU. If its the latter, that will make a difference.

I should add I wasn't implying that engaging in a sex act with myself would ensure funding (although its an interesting idea if you're a leggy blonde with bi.....on second thoughts I'd better not go there), more a exclamation of incredulity at the question.

Well I hope he's a young Brad Pitt, as this is potentially a career killer for Lamp. Be a shame if she ruined her life (what it could come down to) for an older, beardy type. Putting Lamp aside, what kind of muppet is he playing along with all this (as seems to be the case).
