Unfortunately I'm deadly serious. Money seems to talk re some postgraduate courses out there. I have mentioned this before and regular posters will know what Uni I'm refering to. Bobo by-the-way has just got a 2.2 at Undergraduate level from the same Uni.

Bit and peices of funding around. Much less if you are a non-EU national. Try and find a funded project, thats the easiest way. Lancaster has several, but I am unsure what your eligibility will be for them. Be assured, as stated they gets LOTS of people applying.

How do you suggest we pay for them? What do you suggest we cut? UK-nationals postgraduate funding. The limited funding that goes to undergrads. How about out of the health service budget, there loads of money there thats surplus.

Its not an ideal world, nor is there a money tree growing in the gardens of the Dept. of Education. I'm being very real here. I also think this country as a whole does 'its bit' for others re overseas aid. £50billion is no small amount after all is it?

In a IDEAL world. It isn't though. There is a finite pot of monies for education. If more goes to non-EU nationals, others have to have less. As I said to you previously, can I go to your country and expect them to pay for my education.

I don't think Wuyeh should really be taking his time railing against the status quo. It isn't likely to change in the immediate future and if it does it [ala a Conservative Govt.], it will be for the worse as far as Wuyeh is concerned. Said party would be better spending their time looking at all suitable opportunities on here and elsewhere.

There are studentships available for people in your situation. I would suggest you apply for one of those, or look for ways of self-funding. Ultimately, those are your choices. Good luck with your search.
