I have just won a studentship of 13500£ funded by EPRSC. The fees I have to pay are 3000£. Do I have pay these fees with my studentship? I will have so 10500£ available ? could someone cofirm this?

I just wondered how you were getting on Isil - did you get what you needed? At the end of June I really thought e-bay was the answer to all my problems, but the piece of equipment I bought has stopped working (probably because it was so old) and now I'm back to square one. I also had a closer look at the equipment grant I mentioned and found something subtle in the regulations that I think excludes students from applying.

All I can say is that I've started & stopped an MBA after finishing an MS only to wish that I'd have finished the MBA...over and over I wish there were an end to my regret. I wanted to get a Ph.D from the beginning (a wee lad) & now everything seems unattainable. Don't give up without realizing the very real cost of admitting defeat.
