DO NOT even mention money to me. I haven't even had so much as a bean in stipend payments since I started 4 weeks ago. My overdraft is so large that when I am paid it my account will just be back to zero!! I've been told it'll be the end of October when I get paid..it can't come quick enough.

£5K is nowhere near enough to live off if you want your own place, but if you're happy to flat share then that's ok.

Apparently your chances of doing this vastly increase if you ring up a university and ask them YOURSELF instead

Plus any decent journalism course is very difficult to get onto unless you have a lot of media experience

I rarely venture yo the main Imperial campus, and hate it when I do! H, I'm of Yorkshire origin and have the miachael taken out of me all the time when they can't understand my accent. I just take it as light-hearted banter. My girlfriend is of Indian origin and she didn't like the idea of visiting my family home in Barnsley (near to Sheffield, folks, for those of you unaware it exists!) because of the racist remarks she said occured up there. But nonr of that has ever occured and she now loves the place.

they will ask u about ur proposal. EG. research methodology - why u want to research (dont say u wanna be a dr). Be prepared to defend yourself - be happy and enthusastic - uve got to make them excited abotu ur project. try to use the phrase - when i start here i plan to get involved with .... They will ask about ur previous experience will help u...etc who knows. Will it be a panel of people that will be interviewing you?

Depends what subject you are studying and if you have a specific project in mind. If you do, be prepared to discuss the ins and outs of it. In my experience, they'll only be really interested in your academic abilities.
