hi I want to know that if you are prepared to pay your own tutition fees (i think is approx £3000 per year) for a PhD and have the academic requirement is it easy to find a phd? i live in london and was thinking of approaching a supervisor to ask ifhe will take m for his projet if I pay my own fees - i live in london with parent so will have no extra exprenses what are my chancs of sucess?

lf l choose to do one of the projects aready advertised for the university department of my choise do lsend in a project proposal .lt looks like copying to me coz the problem area ,approaches and all methods will be stated in brief what do l do ?l believe the supervisor has already defined and needs someone to do that research and applying for it means you are prepared to take up everything and research possibly according to his instruction so what is aproposal for?

Hei, there, Imm, asap!!! It's really the time for applying for PhD in 2004! don't waste your time, because althouth it is early to get the offer, most of the univs give out their bursaries in Jan, and do keep in mind that the deadline for the application for ORS is at the end of JAN!!!

Hi Guys. I’m a UK (English/UK) student and although it will cost an arm and a leg, I would like to look into entering a PhD programme in the USA or Canada. Can anyone tell me if there are any extra qualifications I will need to apply for a PhD in the USA or Canada? Obviously I know I need my degree (and in my case my MSc) but does anyone know of any other qualifications that I am likely to be asked about/for when applying in the USA/Canada?

Good! in this way, I may have every reason to delay my replies to my supervisor, because I am in prison. Without any documents from me, she cannot process the ORS application anymore. I have 3 years to apply some other institutions. :)

Yes! students definitely need insurance! My master degree is television studies, and I've got a pear shape and near sight since. Now I am up for the 4 year phD programme ahead. I sometime don't understand why I am doing this PhD!
