this is a wind up, right?

I am looking to do a PhD in Chemical Engineering, but I would like to know if I am covered by insurance before I begin applying. The reason I am concerned is that I have a history of accidently creating small explosions. During my first degree I accidently blew a hole in a lab wall, and was forced to transfer to another Unviersity where one of my experiements set the lab on fire. As an undergraduate student I was covered for both accidents, so is it the same for PhD students?? If anyone can help that would be fantastic.

It works on the principle that a GPA of 4.0 (the max) is an A grade, and i think a 3.5 is a B. It might be 3.0 for a B but i cant remember. With 85%, your GPA would probably fall in between 4.0 and 3.5. This is more than adequate for graduate training in the US or the UK.

Hi, I am a Bangladeshi, completed my B Sc in Computer Science and M Sc in Computer Science (Without research) from India. Now I am interested doing a Ph D. The question for me is : am I eligible for a Ph D seat as I dont have any thesis, or I need to do anyother course before I join? Please help!

Well, it seems that I'm being criticised. In this case I think i need to stick to the first one. But they do not have any bursuries, and i need at least some partial support :(

I was offered a PhD stipend of approximately 15000 in the first year rising to 17000 in the final year. Due to a supervisor that lied and didn't keep to his word I am now on standard rates.
