I've finished my engineering studies i need some informations concerning the program and courses of the first year in PHD level especialy in space technologies

Luckily since I posted the first message I found a letter they sent me 6 months ago stating I could pay in instalments. Now they deny telling me I couldn't. I think getting past the registry department when applying for a PhD should count towards your workload, it is cetainly a substantial piece of work in itself...

i'm international student holding a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology , i would like to do a phd in the uk , i was wondering can i do distance learning phd or part time , and for part time do i have to be in uk ,or i can come some times during the year to attend some lectures, exams and researches ( as i'm currently working abroad in my country) please help , thanx (email [email protected])

i'm international student , i just want to know .. when u say part time phd do u mean i have to be in the uk and attened few days a week or i can be away and just come sometims to set exams or reasearchs...i'm holding a degree in biochemistry and moelcular cell biology .. thank you

Hi, I have just graduated with a 2:1 biochemistry degree, and am about to embark on a Ph.D in genetics. However I cant stop thinking about the possibility of becoming a medical Dr. Is it possible to get any funding to study medicine or should I just shut up and do my Ph.d which will give me £1000 per month.

not to this degree, but yes in switzerland you have many idiots working at university administrations who would tell you one thing, and then simply deny they said that when you discover that they made you make a terrible mistake....

would not it be much easier if everyone adopted the same simple /100 scale ???

I have achieved MA International Business and I would like to start my PhD.I am a mature student and I am wondering whether I can stick with my dissertation and just research it in depth or I have to change subjects to get funding, considering that my topic for MA was very especific?

I found some suitable supervisors for doing a PhD. But the problem is that they have no funding for this year. Can I start now and pay for the first year while applying for some financial support for the remaining two years of study?

i wish to do a phd in biology, I heard US universitites are the best in that field, then France. But I want to study in the UK, is it as good, concerning reputation for future job but also for level of education. I was advised Bristol, Newcastle, Sussex Brighton, University college and Imperial College, Oxford and Cambridge. The programs are roughly the same. However in the UK the centre of research in my field is the best in Bristol. But I am intending to move abroad for a job and wonders which institution is worldwide best known and respected?
