I am looking to do an MA/Msc next year in latin american development, the best course I can find is at the Institute for Latin American Studies, which doesn't show up in any tables or anywhere in fact. Can anyone tell me if it is actually any good there, I mean if I go for the programme I want, will it be worthwhile or should i look to a more credible institution?

The FindAPhD team are definitely up for a bit of humour (as evidenced by their participation in earlier threads). However, they (quite rightly) step in when things get a bit out of hand and there is the potential for people to be offended.

When I was doing my undergraduate degree, there was a technician that was doing a PhD part-time in the department. I doubt that this website is good for finding part-time projects. Perhaps you could email some potential universities to ask them about them. Is studying full-time not an option?
