You will have to aim for a clinician scientist post once you complete all your studies. However, if you want to practice as a doctor then a PhD will be helpful. It all depends on what your ultimate aim is rather than wasting time and prolonging your clinical training.

u will never know the answer unless u do that. If u have an opportunity grab it..not many even get the chance..finally dont regret things in life..things happen for a reason, as you live your life doing various things you want as well as dont want!

not doing a Phd does not mean you have a life so u might as well do a Phd while you put it together.

visit university web sites and contact potental supervisors but remember most Phds in Holland are considered to be jobs.
