Well my origins are indian so I have been a few times, I admit Goa is lovely though.

Been to Thailand as well.

Turns out we are gonna have to budget after all so Tahiti is out!
Guess the money should go towards a house rather than a couple of weeks having a good time....

How many hours would it take to fly there? I'm not a good flyer, the longest I have done is 16 hours and that was hell!

Indonesia would be good.

I was also thinking Maldives, seeing as everyone keeps saying it's gonna get flooded totally and then maybe move onto Sri Lanka.

hillyg, it is something I thought of but I have actually been to Egypt, Would defiantely go again as I loved it! Need to spend a few months there to see everything

Piglet, we have so many things in common, it's quite shocking.

Well have about 10 months to go but totally stuck....there is just too much to choose from I guess!

Would prefer somewhere warm (although Iceland hasn't been totally ruled out), somewhere I haven't been before, somewhere with a beach but also lots of historical/interesting things to see.

Suggestions please!
