Jojo, I thought you had got quite stuck into your thesis because you kept putting on posts about finishing it and what you will do next.

It sounds like you have communication issues with your supervisor however we don't know the other side of the story either, maybe you do misunderstand what he says to you.

I am also confused about you put in the original post, does that mean he gives up being your supervisor?

Hi 404, I think the only solution to this problem is to create a new "reference type" (Endnote has 3 unused ones). Select which fields you would use and what you want to call them (normally just the field name). So for example, Author would be the acronym (DCMS), then year would be year, use secondary author for the full name and the rest would be normal.

To do this, you need to go to the EDIT menu, preferences, Reference Types (down the left)>click on modify reference types>at the top for reference type, scroll down and select unused1 and off you go.

Once you have done this and saved, go to the edit menu again >output styles>edit Harvard

Under bibliography select templates, select reference types at the stop and select the new one you just made. You can copy and paste the one you have been using but after author, put the field secondary author (or whatever you called it).

Why should you feel guilty, you need to do whats best for you, this person is not even a friend and you don't know them (I guess?). It makes sense to go along with any gut feelings you have. Having an unhappy/stressful home environment is not going to help your work in any way what so ever!

Well she got the roses. Took a pic with her phone and they did look nice but apparantly one particular type of rose had started to wilt already in the bouquet.

So not bad I guess, maybe better if you want to deliver within London as I think thats where they do the flowers from.
