...when i click over to pea's 'intellectual' thread, the screen goes weird and massive and i have to kind of scroll left and right to read across the page. it's not doing it anywhere else - what's going on???

yeah, it's funny how this all works. sometimes the forum's deserted (usually weekends) and other times we will all seem to crave each other simultaneously (what a lovely thought...)

when i'm on my computer i normally have the forum up in the background somewhere. when the writing dries up i click over to refresh, then back to the grind. sometimes i try to be good and not log-on, but i figure that i need regular breaks from what i'm working on, so it's great to think about something else

I have been described (once or twice...) as being 'elitist' - quite recently, actually (although I still have a school report on which one of my high school teachers has described me as an intellectual snob )

It might not sound very flattering on the face of it, but I'm sorry (actually, I'm not), i'm not claiming to know how to fit a central heating system, cut hair or fix computers...

they can be quite expensive (if you get them from somewhere like John Lewis) but google 'flexi-bar' and lots of alternatives come up. I worked out the i would have to go to about 12 weeks of classes to buy one - so i'm doing the classes. you wouldn't believe the amount of fitness equipment that's gathering dust around here!
