lets say a supervisor having around 5 active phd students; how much money from the tuition fee or other sources goes to supervisor each year?

One of my friend who completed his Phd was giving me some suggestions, he said that students who interact with other Phd students finish their phd sooner than those who work alone;
He had friends from china who finished their Phds within 3 years time because of working closely with others.

Websites listed in previous post will not help you, because they have newly posted Phds, while you got a Phd position but looking for funds,
I think you should look into something

3) Business Placement Scheme - ESRC
4) Business Internship - ESRC

if you can't find direct funding you can also try R&D tax relief, (your employer will pay your fees + your wages) and they will get tax relief for Research and Development.

I believe that your supervisor haven't explained everything properly to you and/or your research institution/university doesn't have the right resources.
but again if s/he is going to supervise you, then it means s/he have worked in the related area; and will be the best person to guide you, if he is not in country you can contact him by email etc.

Not sure about many universities but I have an experience with one university who told me that your employer can pay donation to university which can be used for your studies.

so, what about VAT return on donation to universities? I did some google search but haven't got a proper answer,

I am NON-EU national working in a UK based Company, they are willing to sponsor my PhD,
I am looking to start it Part Time, as the university suggested me to do so,

I got a couple of questions regarding the VAT return,

1) If the university invoice my company (part time PhD overseas fee) which is around 4500£ will they be able to get VAT return on this money? if not they how we can claim VAT Back for it?
2) I heard from other people that you can claim VAT on things like medicine, laptop, books etc so can I claim VAT return on my car fuel etc?

Keep in mind that my Phd will be part time as I will be working Full Time and I am non-EU national but have no restriction on work in the UK

and Please suggest any other things which are related to my Phd, so that we can claim VAT return for that,

I am working as full time Software developer in a UK based company, the company haven't had any previous experience in sponsoring an employ for Phd, so they asked me to collect information regarding the funding, I have shown my research proposal to a couple of universities and they are willing to give me admission,

As I am working full time so I can't study full time but since this is a commercial sponsorship, so one of the supervisor told me that your company will pay 3 years wages + tuition fees to the university and then university will pay you, I have contacted the research office but they were not able to answer me.

Here is my Situation.

a) I am working full time in an UK based company,
b) Phd which I will be doing is for a business,so working+ studying as full time
c) Will the company be paying overseas fees since I am not UK/EU national,
d) and if anyone have any knowledge regarding such sponsorship.
