What are people planning to do proffesionally after their PhD?

I think a few years in industry will be useful for gaining experience in a business environment and then when i go back to academia i can take some of that experience and use it to commercialise my ideas ... hehe!

i'm thinking hard but i'm not entirely sure i've done anything today.

i have a long to do list. i been meaning to start writing this paper but i lack the drive at moment. i might go home soon and do the laundry!

*duh* of course they are given that they are doing a phd. i mean is this 2nd super someone who has spent bags of time in industry and has just ventured back into academia?

money not that important to me either. but if i want to save for houses/family/future stuff etc i think a few years in industry would be useful for the bank balance :)
