Hi girls,
So last might I emailed my supervisor everything that I've done so far and met him this morning. He still hasn't read what I handed in, and is concerned that even if he and/or somebody else reads it, there won't be time for corrections before submitting. But we agreed that there isn't another option really, and that the thesis does look like it's coming together. So just now I've got an email from him saying that he requested the extension and that he'll get to my chapters tomorrow and will email me again to set up a meeting. All in all, it didn't go too badly.
Back later 8-)
So relieved to hear that Armendaf, exactly, there is no other choice, might aswell just submit it!! i'm sure you've done a fine job of your thesis.
Burn the boats as they ancient Greeks did, no other option but to follow through.
My sups will say the same thing aswell, that they didnt get a chance to read my final draft, but with less than a week, they will be relieved they didnt have to read it! as i suspect they are too busy and dont really want to!!
but like you said, there is no other choice, we just *have* to submit because of uni regulations! nothing we can do about it. just gotta give it in and be done with it and deal with corrections later!
:-s
and i admire the fact that you work AND are writing up, same for Ruby. i dont know how you people do it!
