Re-evaluation of your pland and goals, u are almost bout to finish the race...just hold on, YOU ARE A WINNER, u have invested 24 months of ur precious time, thata alot of time....Keep thinking and break a leg.

Please do not be to concerned about the other student, but start focussing on urselves, what could you best do from this situation, re-evaluate your goals, spending time with boyfirend is OK, u need that support, but getting a Phd with ur boyfriend could do wonders...You are not loosing him, find the balance and keep focus!! Only u have the power to change this. SELF PITY DOES NOT WORK!! Advice: Never compare urself to others, for others will always be greater or lesser than urself.

A Phd student on the south usland in New Zeland, and fascinated by ur discussions, I like people like Otto that always try to stand out, I think there is something that makes him distinctive, come on folks, give him a break, I am sure he was just trying to raise his opinion, and at times we all loss it and he is just human!!!
