My mum cant knit and stitch and such like. And once I had to knit when I had to do some school craft thingy my dad walked in and said in a very sombre voice - "i do not want to see my daughter knitting and cooking. Get up, read a book, write something".

OMG - the man's like that, can't be helped.

I have ten thumbs though so prolly good.

Sneaks!!! Hugsss oh you poor girl!

You have a bad back, why on earth did you try pulling a fridge?? (I am actually glaring at the screen as I write this, and wearing a frown)

Rest well, forget the healthy thingy now and look after your back.

Sneaks - I know little about cheese- any suggestions? (I hate bread btw, so something that can be eaten on its own or with my afternoon salad isgreat!)

Hmm... Ok I forgot the animal rights point behind dairy.. but I am a non vegetarian and i love chicken a huge lot (not red meat so much though...) and I plan to continue...

Milk - i'd compeltely given anything with calcium up by negiligence but my mum (who's 50) has now got a calaneal something on her heel (lack of calcium) and an old teacher (same age) has the same thing, so planning to boost calcium and drinking milk seems the easiest way if I can digest it which I can...

tofu might be another option, and also cheese (sneaks will advise on cheese perhaps? ;-) )

Bug started day with breathing exercises for 45 mins

Now am eating a banana, half a pack of almonds-raisins-berry mix and a glass of whole milk for a late b'fast.

Lunch is Sainbury's large salad bowl (oooh it's delicious to even look at!) and green tea

Evening - milk and banana (5 a day done at this point)

yoga for 45 mins when I get home

Dinner - will cook something with chicken/fish plus green tea

And just before bed - glass of warm milk!

And 12 glasses water.

(This is my week's plan, so let's see)

Sneaks, you ate fruit and veg?!?!?!?! Wow!!! :) Yes, salads are good ideas if you can stand them. I have started liking them actually! I did 45 mins of deep breathing exercises and am doing 50 mins nice yoga in the evenings and it's great

And I saw a different GP - he was So nice! He looked at the riny red thngy on my arm and said it's nothing and that I need to raise my BP, relax and sleep.

Will get tickets for an Easter trip home end of month.

Ok - so now it seems I am taking a trip home tomorrow. This morning I saw tiny red marks on my upper arm and googled it and have been obsessing over leukemia since then.

So, I think I need family, home , whatevr to get my head sorted and to get checks ups done.

:) love

I did nice yoga yesterday and this morning doing a talk, and then breakfasting on low fat yogurt and fruits. Lunch will be salad bowl. Evening yogurt apricots and tons of water. Dinner stir fry prolly and milk before bed. And yoga before dinner on empty tummy!

Love you so much :) Will do all. Honestly, it did not seem credible (and still a little incredible) to me that emotional stuff can cause *real* muscular pain or achy feelings.

I have hijacked the thread :( Please post healthy and exercisey stuff!

I did deep breathing exercises today, took the day off (spent yesetrday at uni), and made lunch and will prolly eat and then watch some silly online telly and even take a day's nap.

Tomorrow - have a talk to deliver (still unwritten) and 1500 words to write today and send a paper to sup by tomorrow morn.

Thanks Eska :) Gran is much better now, she is back home, it wasnt cancer after all, so, technically this is a belated reaction when things are fine...wonder why. I will check out the deep tissue massage for sure and the link. love

Thanks you guys :) I actually finally requested them to scan my tummy to see if there's anything wrong just so they'd take me seriously. They kept asking - are your nauseous? fainting? swollen? bruised? bleeding? how is this affecting your regular work.

Well - I am not fainting, havent got fever, havent thrown up even once, stomach not remotely upset, teachigng, writing, havent taken off work, not, yes, I admit I havent done any of these.

But - Why does a person who wakes up fine, opens her eyes in the morning, takes a couple breahts, is absolutly fien, and then with time, the muscles tense up, heart beats, and all day there's this lingering body ache.

And - it started exactly with my gran's illness. And the fools do not get me. They ask me "which joint is hurting?"

Oh my dear goodness gracious me. It is not a joint. It is not a fever. It is not nausea.

Ah so you can choose who you want to see? My practice (based at my uni cos I live in the area) has a few useless ones and that's it.

All I wanted was something - anything - to help me get over the sheer trauma that I went through this last month - only I know how bad it was - and when your pelvic muscles tense and tie in a knot and your leg aches and your heart races and you breathe heavily for stress, all I wanted is something to help out.

Ibuprufen, she says.

(PS: I had 3 appointments to get the same answer)
