Writing an overdue chapter which I am determined to give it to my supervisor before I go to bed Sunday night. Going to a wine tasting. Going to a 4th birthday party (giddyup!). Washing my filthy car.

You might have to picnic in the car then, but that is still romantic if you are in the mountains. It is the thought that counts.

I think you should make the drive in the mountains into a picnic - girls like picnics and girls really like guys that take them on picnics.

Yes. Hot days, water restrictions, bikinis and bushfires already. I love summer.

A day in bed.

Has to be at the beginning of the cold. Has to be a full day, no wagging half a day and doing some work. Full day in bed sleeping, or at least resting/reading. Decadent, but essential. Cuts a good 3 days off a cold in my experience.
