farmers' market was really disappointing :( we've always enjoyed going there but quality and variety seems to be going down whilst price is going up.

Done 3 tomatoes, now for lunch (waffle, woooo hooo!)

Call mother after lunch (unfortunately it usually takes good 2 hours), then back to work.

10 tomatoes today, although I ran out of steam for the last 4, so did paper searches instead of reading papers.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be more productive :-(

I know what you mean about struggling after lunch.

Finished goal 3, a short break, then onto goal 4.

2nd book extracted for info. Lunch was dissapointing as it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Better make sure dinner is nice!

Goals for this afternoon:
Goal 3: Extract info from 3rd book
Goal 4: look at the thesis that carried out similar stuff
Goal 5: look at a paper that outlines what I need to do
Goal 6: free write at least 10 questions that I think should be in the questionnaire

it makes me feel much better knowing that I wasn't the only one having a slow week, so thank you both :)

Morning :) It's been a slow week for me, having things that interrupt my day all week, like hospital appointments, meetings, having to go away for 2 nights, etc. Feel rather down about the little amount of progress I've made this week and it's the weekend tomorrow. eek!

Anyway, this morning, I have five books to flick through & make notes about how to write questionnaires for kids.

wow what a struggle today is :( Been trying to polish up THAT chapter, but I just can't get in to it. I think I've spent too much time on this and now brain is refusing to do anything more on it. I think I will focus on another (easier) chapter for few days and come back to this one.

Glad to see everyone else doing so well though :)

I have to say, the motivation of three of us working to finish was really really helpful today. I just finished writing my first draft of that chapter I've been slaving over for the last two weeks! It still needs a lot of word doing to it, but it's great to get one stage done. THANK YOU.

Batfink, congratulations, you whizzed through that! You must have far better focus than I have. I was darting around the net ever few minutes! Thank you for your kind encouragement earlier, it really did help me get through this evening's work. I don't think I would've even worked this evening without your comment :)

ETA: algaequeen, could you let me know what Miss Potter is like? I've been wondering whether I'd like it or not for ages!

Batfink, no defo not a bad thing if it helps to improve the quality of your thesis. At least you didn't realise at 7 months to go that you knew nothing about an entire chapter in your thesis! ask me how I know...
