My worst was the day i discoverd my cell model was a disaster and my best was...........must be due anytime soon i think!

I was just wondering if there was anything you wished you knew before starting your PhD, things you wished you had been told during, any advice you think all PhD students should have to help them get through? or any sources of advice?

Some people at my uni are looking into this and trying to bridge any gaps and support PhD students more. Perhaps in the form of a book to be given to all PhD students or something. Anyway, any ideas would be hugely appreciated thanks :-)

yes me too Hollyoaks - sometimes i even watch the same episode twice, by watching it a day ahead on more4 and watching the normal one too -it's bad. My boyfriend things i have a problem hehe

I feel the same too. I am the only PhD student in my department and have an office on my own with no windows too, i get lonely. It's hard even when you just want reassurance that you're doing the right thing and things are going ok. It's easy to get thinks out of proportion and thinnk the worst (well i find it is)
