I'm made many stupid mistake and once you discover them it's horrible! The last one i discovered stressed me out so much that i didn't sleep properly for 3 days. I confessed and felt better, especially as my supervisor didn't think it was a bit deal really. So i agree, be honest and get on with solving the problem. good luck

I'm in the same position going on Monday - very nervous about it, been reading my slides and making minor changes for days!

It's very helpful if we are lucky enough to have supportive partners (I'm very grateful to mine) but how do WE come with PhD blues? I've just started my second year and seem to be having a bit of a crsis of confidence - am i alone?

I've just got involved with the Teacher Scientist Network (as a scientist) the idea is that scientists go into schools locally as a way of helping to make science seem interesting and real. I have been paired up with a class of 10 year olds - which is great, but i'm trying to think of fun things to show them and talk to them about (i'm a biologist) if anyone has any ideas i'd greatly appreciate them thanks!

ok, so you open your word document, click on tools, endnote, insert selected citation, (after you have written something you want to reference) or format bibliography, if you want to add the list of references to the end of your word document.

I have found gumtree excellent http://www.gumtree.com/ for finding people for various things, when i was initially setting up a book club. Might be worth a go, i got loads of response!

what about air fresheners?! grr hate them, open a bloody window! and the Glade plug-in /wisp adverts drive me insane!!!
