a personal opinion based on years of experience watching many online degree holders ending up with jobs that they could have gotten without the having THAT degree at all.

Have you tried to apply for Post Graduate Diploma(PGD). Because you achieved a 3rd Class, universities may not accept you in post graduation directly. First you have to show an improvement in PGD. Not all uni offer PGD. It will definitely raise your expenditure for Post Graduation but look at the bright side, at least you will have an advanced degree in accounting which would have been impossible otherwise.

Dear Shadow, i've always said and will say it again. Distance Learning Program are a great waste of money, time and resources. Unless you are physically present in a class, competing against REAL living students you will not be able to reap the rewards. Further more your future employer will remain skeptical about quality of education. Jobs may be given to those with a Full time MBA. It is generally agreed that degrees awarded via internet are not taken seriously and always looked down upon. Even though your intentions are noble but Internet still remains a hobby for serious academia.

It is my personal opinion and a lot of my friends agree that distance learning programs are a waste of money, time and resources. Unless you are physically present its of no use. It may help students who are unable to bear the cost of a MBA. If you have a choice always go for a full time MBA.

Dear Sushidave, there are plenty of free softwares available on the internet which teach you typing on the keyboard. I used 'typingtutor' a couple of years ago. The software tracks your speed and accuracy and teaches you how to place your hands on the keyboard. It also illustrates which finger to use for an alphabet. A week practice on such a software will make you a pro.

First of all dont think that Masters is the final DESTINATION. Make your self believe that your gona do a Phd NO MATTER WHAT. Write 'Dr' in front of your name and see how it changes the complete picture. Think Ahead of the rest. Remain one step ahead of others.
-Then tell me 'How you cannot manage 1st division in masters'

Please mention WHAT would you like to study part time?. There are a lot many courses with different fees. You wanna study cooking, arts, history, engineering, business, martial arts, mountaineering, nursing, ACCA, law etc etc.
- Kindly state the full question with complete data so others who dont know you may answer as well.

I agree with Lara. If you get selected in a uni with a higher ranking but bad supervisor you will be in deep trouble. Many Phd students drop out just because of something that their supervisor said.
On the other hand selecting a uni with a lower ranking but good supervisor will greatly improve your chances.

In the end it will not matter as you will be refered to as a 'Dr'.

i understand that a friend here named zacklio asked almost a similar question as mine. I need all of your input whether an Engineer holding a Masters Degree should go for a MBA because i need to aquire some leadership skills and perhaps the charms of Business students presentation skills to really launch myself off.
