I'm not sure how to answer your question; sorry to hear that you have some problems now about your viva.

It must have been a lot of work to write on the Vedas. Understandably you would like to defend your thesis; is there any way you can find resolution for the problem with the university? Surely your supervisor has some good advice for you.

have you sent out any articles for publication? Another thing you could do is look out for universities which have a department of Sanskrit studies, History or Philosophy, this kind of area, then you could maybe just ask the experts in these area.

its true that your mind will continue to run and run even when you know you have to do your work
one way is to sit and work with people; that way when people are working, you feel obligated to work as well; and are more motivated to contribute (thus cutting away the mental distractions)

another way is through meditation or using simple visualization techniques (e.g. psychotherapy)

for the wandering mind, I always recommend using the Snake in the tree method.
It is very effective. Or use measuring tape method.

You need to do the exercises everyday for at least 2 weeks and you will feel the results after that.

hi!!! does anyone suffer from cold hives? Its driving me nuts and my skin is itching.
I don't know what else to do. I have applied Eurax on it, it seems to give relief but does not stop the hives from appearing. I'm so miserable.
Don't like the cold weather.

nice to hear from you. I think you should not apply for ATAS again once you have submitted your application; approval should arrive in good time.

I'm sorry I don't know which is better, an MSc or MBA. What is it you want to do exactly?
Are you not happy with your present job? Your offer from university of Glassgow is in engineering or management, or is it both? If the conditions are good, and they give you full stipend, perhaps you can consider doing it, if that is what you really like.

Oh yes, was your 2nd option applying again? is this to ATAS?

1) job prospectus for MBA holder in UK; I think there are lots of jobs, but whether you can find the one you want, that is a risk you'll have to face. I have a friend who works part-time at supermarket (MSc in IT), he has been doing this for over a year, while searching for a job, and still has not found anything.

2.)is it good decision to do master in management although having graduation from engineering background; in my humble opinion, you do management because you like it (first of all) and you think you are able to do it; and you have to be prepared to learn new things and possibly "suffer" a bit, because this is not your field. It is not impossible. But whether it is a good decision goes back to why you want to do a master now and what master is it.

3.) is it easy to take work permit for two year after study; if you have found employment then your employer helps for the work permit. Again there are some risks. but usually people start looking for jobs under a student visa (work 20 hours per week) and from there to full time job and work visa.

welcome to the forum :-) I assume you sent off your ATAS application in good order (everything filled up correctly); then there shouldn't be a problem. Just wait for the ATAS approval letter to come back.
If I'm not wrong, you cannot proceed with the visa application without ATAS approval.
There is not much you can do but wait a bit.

1. It takes anything from 3-4 years and above to complete a phd
2. yes there are; look around online and apply. You'll need to fill up the application forms, minimum 2 letters of recommendations, certified copies of your transcripts/degrees and you'll need an English cert (example TOEFL or IELTS). You'll either have to write a research proposal or personal statement (depending on your application).
3. It is possible to get jobs, it just depends on what job, I guess.

Start by setting small goals for yourself; which are easier to accomplish; then your mood will improve.
