if you want to do an MSc or PGDip, there is a transition in changing fields and you did take a step in doing the math course, my guess is you'll do ok.
Check with the university(s) about the application requirements or ask your prospective supervisors.

Also (for me) sometimes I find the scholarship websites confusing; but thats because lots of words just put me off (or I'm lazy to read..) its easier to go directly to the university website and look.

I'm sorry I don't know what suggestions to give you now; I'm not sure what you want to do.

But just wanted to share with you:

For me, the phd stipend in UK isn't that low (my friends in Portugal/Italy get much less!); its just the living expenses in UK; tend to be high, have to pay for this and that. Even TV license :-) If you are lucky and share a house/flat with people whom you are compatible with (and vice versa), then you can save money. Otherwise living alone somewhere (paying for rent, utilities etc.) can take a huge chunk out of your monthly stipend.

hi! I really wish I could help you; but this is not my area.
What you can do is first think about which topic you like in e learning.
After you know more or less what you like about it, talk to people in this area.
Also, find papers/articles about current research going on in this area, and read them up.
Talk to your computer science professors.
Then do some search online and see what kind of research is going on in other universities etc.

Give yourself some time and eventually you'll find it.

I think your business will grow more (outside the student community).
I would like to use research stats analysis services but as much as I would like to pay you, I couldn't really afford your fees.

Because now you probably already have lots to do, its a good idea to get a business consultant who will put your business in the right places (advertising etc.). Initially you'd have to pay the consultancy fees etc. but it is a good investment in the long run.

I managed to get my abbreviation; but I have put it under Appendix because thesis.tex couldn't generate the Abbreviations page (!) I dont know what else I did wrong; I did make a separate Abbreviations.tex and also put under \include...

Im still fiddling with the abbreviation, i am using the glossaries package from nicola talbot's link; I put that in the first appendix page
