yes a phd can be done while working but visiting the supervisor annually/every semester and/or email correspondence with the supervisor is definitely not enough.

you're going to have to put in a lot more whether the phd is fulltime or part time

hi can someone help me please?
I still struggling with my poster. I'm using powerpoint. I made a table for my data but now its too big.
How do I save that as a jpeg?

Alternatively how do I resize that table without changing all the column widths etc.

I read your post with interest :-) I think its wonderful that you already got together with the external academic; its a great idea to get her comments :-) ABSOLUTELY!

But also, there is the issue of other authors (of the paper). I was told that when showing a draft of the paper, it should preferably be with the permission of the other authors, when they are ok with it everything is much easier.

In your case, it seems all positive go for it!

he is the one who's having difficulty coping (hence the unprofessional behaviour); he has to learn to deal with it;
you dont have to feel bad about not feeling the same way about him, please don't feel bad or be pushed into feeling guilty just because he cannot handle himself; its a good thing that you were honest and told him so, instead of going further in a relationship that could have been worse for the two of you

maybe if everybody could meet (with your supervisor there) saying something like "we should all work as a team...etc" then there is no worry about getting him into trouble over his behaviour; either way he needs to grow up..

I dont know the minimum number of N for SEM;
I only know we need hundreds of N for SEM :-)
I remember reading a (SEM) paper with over 1000 participants

when you know the rule or the minimum or number of participants per variable, can you post back here as well, I would like to know too :-)
