I did go to the Mac counter; their foundation shades are more towards orange-shades. I also went to look at Clinique shades, which looked less orange but I still couldn't make up my mind. I'm going to look again this saturday.

hi Az_1210
I think its possible to "take the title proposed... and do it in your country", many people do research for almost the same things; I don't think this is wrong, just that if you apply for a phd located in Europe; if you apply for the phd from any European university; if given the offer and accepted, you'd be expected to stay in Europe (where the university is) to complete this phd. Taking the topic to do in your own country is not stealing anything if you develop your own ideas and get your own results.

For example: many people all over the world research mobile technologies. Sometimes the title is almost the same.

hope this helps

Somehow lip balm doesnt feel as greasy as gloss.

I would like to quit PHD...Please Help

hi! Since you have made your decision, theres only one way to find out!
Dont worry, your advisor will definitely consider your decision and will help you figure out what is best for you.
In fact, doing up to masters is better than quitting with nothing. It is still an achievement.
Why are you worried about job? Do you know there are thousands of jobs out there, job is always there, only thing what you want exactly might be difficult to find. The world is out there for you to explore.

there are lots of successful people without phd, without masters, without a proper education.
You should be able to find something. Dont worry about that. Worry only about NOW, what you are going to do for yourself, live in the present first.

hi! what is your phd title then? which area of film are you doing?
heres a quick example:
say it's on 3D movies
Introduction: How 3D movies began, some history, when did film makers start using special effects; describe these and put references to back them up

For the body: (depends on your title)
Examples of types of 3D effects; any influence in people (youth etc); any advantages/disadvantages;
3D movies in Britain, Wallce and Gromit etc.

hope this helps

hi there. I assume you only recently felt like this? I guess it is common for us phd students to feel sad at times, lose motivation etc. Just one day ago I was all confused over statistics. Then today make-up (me and my mascara).

Settling for MSc is a good idea; but maybe you need more time to think and you also need time to recover, to get well. Find someone to talk to, your supervisor, a postgraduate tutor, mentor, someone who can help you decide so you won't feel so alone. Its better to speak honestly with your supervisor; since he is very good, as you said, he should be in the best position to give you advice.

hi sneaks and eska
thanks for the tips. I will remember to let the body lotion dry before I put on my bra.
I have short eye lashes *sigh* not much can be done there....
heres why I started to use mascara; I was getting lots of compliments (I'm so silly!)
then sometimes I found myself looking like a panda (maybe not waterproof mascara!).
I'm going out shopping tomorrow; do you know a good brand for mascara....
also when do you apply concealer?
thanks satchi

hi suddenly I'm not sure what to do anymore, I would appreciate some answers:

1. when applying body lotion, do you use it on your stomach and breasts?
I'm asking this because now I apply on arms, ankles, legs, top of my feet and back of the heels. I know this is a stupid question but my worry is: if lotion is applied on our bust, wont it stick to the bra. I didnt think that our chest area needs any moisturisers but now I feel as though my skin is dry there. Could also be due to the new shower gel I used today.

2. Which one comes first, mascara or eye shadow. I need help on this because mascara is so difficult. If i sneeze, it will smear around my eyes. I don't know how to put it properly.

3. Also, I've only noticed (since using mascara) that if I apply it and then walk to uni, by the time I get there, there will be some smudges around my eyes. How can I prevent this.

4. Last question (which I really need some tips) is the flaky stuff on my lips, is it really my lips drying up, or is it the lipgloss that is not good quality? I find that if I apply gloss say at 8.30am, by 11.30am after I've had coffee, my lips tend to be flaky and I have to wet a tissue to try to wipe those off. otherwise I apply lipstick and the bits get on the lipstick.

any advice will be welcome
thanks
