hi murali132
congratulations! If your fully-funded phd post includes a monthly stipend, that should be your maintenance funds. Write in the visa application that it is included in your scholarship.
Also you need to include the original scholarship letter from the university that will tell you how much you are getting pro rata, that should be enough.
When you collect your visa & passport, all original documents will be returned to you.

hi buttercup
You want to create table of contents, right?
You can make your table of contents by using the Insert Table function in Word
So you will have 3 columns.
The smallest (left) is for the number in sequence of what you want to put (Acknowledgements, then the chapters)
The middle one is the title of the chapter (following that is the sections and subsections), you can do line by line.
The right one is for you to fill up the pagenumbers.
so for roman numeral you can type i, ii, iii, iv, v, vi, vii, viii, ix, x..etc.
if you are still not sure PM me I will make you a short sample

oh I forgot--about the "think of the impact will be" part.
For me, the impact will be that more innocent people will get sick and the party(s) responsible will be making more and more money. This is the sad impact. It is just like global warming, September 11 etc. Someone(s) made a lot of money even from September 11 at the expense of innocent lives.
ok satchi now get back to work
hi wally
For me swine flu is a successful money-making project; swine flu is man-made and is dangerous to people who already have underlying health problems. Someone(s) is making £££££ from this.
I will not take swine flu vaccines, I don't even take flu jabs. They are supposed to help the body but in actual fact they do more harm. Also I dont want to go into a debate about this, I'm only speaking honestly.
An example, polio vaccine is different, the case is completely different.
oops I forgot to say also:
this will be a good time to get in touch with your university librarian for a session on how to use your university referencing programme/software/whichever they are providing.
Once you have been taught, the rest is easy :-)
goodnight

hi larrydavid
which spreadsheet do u want to use?
I read here you want to set up a database of all the documents you have read.
This is easy, you don't have to use a spreadsheet or excel!
Use a Referencing Software (for example End notes, RefWorks, citation software), just learn that up first, once you know it will be very easy for the rest of your thesis-reading.
For example, you could have your documents alphabetically arranged, or arranged by date, and also you could put them in folders or select VIEW ALL REFERENCES just with a click of the mouse.
You'll have to also learn the syntax in case you need to enter the references manually. This is important but if you do it right the first time, then the rest is easy.
From your referencing software, they can also do SEARCH for you, then export the citation to your account. Its quite simple. Dont use excel or spreadsheet.

Hi girls, Natassia (in particular)
guess what I have just bought myself a pot of the Kerastase chroma chroma mask! Cant wait to try it.
I need some advice please; I was at Selfridges today and saw a saleslady curling a customer's hair. I was in such a hurry to meet my friend that I did not notice the brand of the product; but I remember seeing a picture of a cowboy on the box! Do you have any idea what brand it is? all I heard was the lady saying "medium size is good for your hair, costs £90 now on offer, regular price £120".
I really like the curler but at this moment I can't pay £90. CAn you recommend a reasonably priced curler for me, something easy to use.
Also I saw the lady curling it on dry hair, is that how it works for all curlers. I know this sounds silly but here goes anyway: how long will the curls stay after being curled? Does the brand (of the product) have anything to do with it? I'm really thinking of getting one. Maybe this saturday.
please please reply
thanks

hi...
you know something, all this talk about fat asses :-)
I feel like buying a space-hopper and bounce around on it! I do have some space in my flat, it would be so nice.
I also heard that they use this in exercise classes for old people, it must be useful.
Well, will post back when I have done some research (on where to buy) and after I have bought it!!!!! :-)
