Don't worry- it's the weekend tomorrow! Rest up and you will get better soon- lots of fruit and veg, and fluids!
*Big Hug*
Pure laziness!! Am avoiding doing my literature review, have made a nice plan but don't want to start searching through endless online searches! Going to be proactive and write a to-do list for tomorrow. Although my computer is running some programmes as we speak that will probably take all night, does that count as working?
It is very quite on here today people...You must be having much more productive days than me today! Can't seem to focus...
no...i win!
Most places usually wash hair so you just want to ask for a 'cut & blowdry'. I live in a village in Kent (I commute to London for Uni), and get a wet cut for £12. I have a morning appointment, and go in with my hair freshly washed and still wet. I then go home and blow dry my own hair- I blowdry it every other day so why pay for someone else to do it? Makes it alot cheaper!!
My question to you all is how?
I understand the why (putting you PhD in a wider context, not reinventing the wheel,...), but am not really sure where to start. I have my research questions all sorted (my PhD is in statistics) but need to know what to do next. I have thought about online searching (ISI Web of Science) using keywords, or perhaps looking at a couple of papers I already have found and looking at the references on them. Or perhaps I could look at work by researchers already in my field? However, I am worried I will miss an important paper. I just wanted to ask some of you experienced PhD students how you went about this and what you found sucessful (or not)?
Thanks, Billy xx
