Hi eading!
Thanks a ton! You made my day! Your help is much appreciated. BTW you also sent one of your(I guess) papers in my bunch. Just to let you know.
Cheers :)
Hi eading!
Thanks for sending me the articles. But the rar files need a password to open. It would be great if you could pass that to access the articles.
Many thanks!
@Chococake: Thanks for your suggestion I have make it that way
@pd1598: What do you mean by too vague? As I mentioned the framework (I found after a lot of hardwork) I adapted conveys the message for the need of my study. But the agency that produced it as well as the framework are accused of promoting capitalist economy and criticised by many in my field. I have created completely new framework stating the criticism but using some of the key players from the original framework.
But I am afraid the framework will sink me in the Viva and I will get RR. Hence I would like to have suggestions as well as insight for the infamous question of theoretical framework. Also I wonder if anyone encountered similar situation in the exam.
Thanks
Hi Everyone!
I am in the huge dilemma. The theoretical framework I adapted for my doctoral study seems flawed now.The framework is extensive however I am interested mainly in some part of it. I wonder if it is wise to still adapt it for my study. Moreover the framework although not directly but indirectly supports privatisation of public services while my view is against it, which I already have mentioned in the LR. Apart from these, the framework just rightfully conveys the message of the need of my study.
I am really worried if I should use this framework? I need a framework to collaborate the key concepts and sum up the need of the study.
Many thanks in advance.
Hi pd1598
I am providing references for the multiple chapters written by different authors from the same book.
Thanks
Thanks TreeofLife for your detailed reply.
Dear All,
It is a really a foolish question but I am unable to reach to a concrete answer and so I would be grateful if you can help.
How to cite the book which has chapters of more than 10 authors? I am looking for the Harvard style referencing. Online tools suggest that I should include all the authors but it does not seem a viable option.
Any suggestion?

Dear All,
I am currently writing my thesis away from the university. I do not have an access to online journals which is killing me and affecting my work so badly.

Hi!
I am fairly a new person on this forum and as usual I wish if I would have found it before.
My doctoral thesis is in Social Science discipline. I have been involved in Literature Review and so far I have pulled to write only 12000 words, a long way to go. But that is not my question. I find myself redoing the Literature Review again and again. By this I do not mean to say adding more stuff or editing in a different way but making it a fairly new chapter keeping only 50 percent stuff I have already written. This is taking too much time and I do not seem to finish it ever. The problem is my research is in fairly new topic and every time I brainstorm and ask myself WHY it always lead me to something new.
I have taken help of my supervisors in the past but none of them belong to this specific field and their knowledge is somewhat limited. They ask me to make a conceptual framework but unable to suggest anything. Anyways I lost hope in them.
The point is is anybody has to do the same? Please help it would take me out from this cycle of rewriting again and again and it is SO STRESSFUL :(
Hi Guys!
I am doing PhD in Social Sciences. My method is qualitative and I have collected data using semi structured interviews. I have not undertaken participant observation separately. However there were some significant points to be noted during the interview process. Interviews of the professionals, for example, took really long time and they were busy with their day to day activities. The information noted often contradict with their interview responses.
As I have not conducted participant observation is it possible to write about the observation during interview process?
Many thanks in advance.
