Has anyone else noticed that JoJo has over 1000 posts but only 1 star! This cannot be right, as I know JoJo has been a VERY helpful user!

Can I be a helpful user too? Wal refuses to give me any stars because he is obsessed with his VIP status :-(

Have you tried PhD comics - I think they have a forum and possibly a chat room as well as funny comics!

hmm I do understand the purple stickys now - although would be good if you could link the forum we went in to with our username details. I.e. I get sent to PhD life cos I am a current PhD student.

But I have never seen orange sticky threads - do you mean just normal threads? or do they have a little drawing pin in them too?

To Mods - How come you can see sticky threads if you enter through 'phd life' but not if you enter through postgradforum on google? I want to see the sticky threads at all times hence why they should be sticky.

I think this is what our course has been over run by, they are so focused on 'level 3' type teaching, that people who prefer to sit and listen, and not do CONSTANT group tasks feel they are pushed out of the group because more dominant members take over.

Ah ha - today I will get some work done!! Stuff to do today

- look through stupid stats questions from students and answer appropriatly
- completely finish that stupid analysis that's been dragging on all week!
- check on data collection

How many clicks do you have to get to get each star, I know its one click for 1 star, but how many for 2 stars etc.

As someone who was a 'very helpful user' by aiding your attempts to reach this higher status, I feel that you should do the honorable thing and provide me with a helpful user rating - you never know, your click might bring me in to 4 star status!

don't forget the chair sashes - and they must match the organza favour bags! Seriously wouldn't bother with all that. We had a barn dance and it was HECTIC RUDE BOY! Sorry - think my pain killers are making me crazy
