yay Teek's back! I was wondering where you'd been. I thought maybe you'd up and left being a Dr. or something. I reckon I'm going to be on here in 20 years still doing my goals a day :$

I'm a research assistant today, so no PhD work.

Goal 1: Run correlation and write up.

It is annoying. She's still not answering, so I have no idea if she is currently travelling into my uni or not. I'm at home with a horrible cold so not going in.

I'm going to try and get on with another project, but I just know she'll ring just once I've got my head into it.

hmm, I'm supposed to be doing RA work today, but my sup hasn't called to tell me what needs to be done and I've just called her's without any response, but then it is probably her kids first day back at school. Will have to wait until she's around as don't want to get into PhD and then have to stop after 13 mins or something. :-s

hopefully by mid-jan the pressure will be off for 2 of the main roles I'm doing. But I think its going to be working well into the night to get those things done for mid-jan.

I think its all feeling a lot worse because of my sore throat today :-(

ok, so I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed now, I have so many things to do for so many different projects and each seems more important than the other.

Finally done the work for sup, although she'll think it took 30 mins rather than about 4 hours :-s

Next goal - work out when my lectures are this term :$

Bernards Watch would be excellent, Although I suppose you'd finish the PhD and look like you've aged 10 years rather than 4 because of the extra time you had doing it (?)

ah, I've just had a cup of milk and honey - so probably isn't great for a diet. I've got the first cold I've had for about 3 years, its a horribly painful soar throat :-(

haha my no 1 tip = don't read them! read the abstracts.

If I find the abstract interesting I *may* bother to read the rest, but not often :p

I mainly read and write at the same time - I'll start a little essay on the topic I'm reading. I never read in isolation - I always have a word doc on the go writing out the argument that all the papers are making and any gaps I spot.

I upgraded to X4 from X1 recently, but only because X1 wasn't compatible with Office 2010. Otherwise I don't really see a difference so there's probably no point. Not sure if X2 is compatible with it?

she's just emailed again asking for non-phd work asap :( this will take hours to do :( and then I'm technically working on another project for the rest of this week.

Its getting so hard to squeeze my PhD in anywhere.

Plus the house I'm is super heated at the bottom and freezing at the top. I'm sitting at the bottom, but its getting to the point where my face is burning its so hot in here!

ah yes, that's what I was trying to get it - so it must be that! makes sense, especially if you're looking at bias in attributions.

or does it mean that the observers base their judgements on generally held perceptions (i.e. amongst others) about that person's behaviour?
