I believe that you would have to pay a 'write up' fee which varies between universities but won't be as much as the full fees.

The objectives and summary are now drafted out. I am finding everything a lot easier as my supervisor has sent me across a load of notes.

My next goal is to tackle the 'impact summary' section and 'pathways to impact' attachment.

Afternoon everyone. I am back online after my OH took my mac to get repaired during his lunch break. Luckily whatever the guy did to repair it only took him a few minutes!

I am really struggling to focus today. I'm tired and feel like my brain isn't wired up properly! I have 2 deadlines for Wednesday morning so my goal today is to make sure everything is at least drafted out so that I can redraft it when I am feeling a bit sharper tomorrow. I have been working on the application form for proposal number 2, and I still need to draft out the objectives and summary sections.

Well I have had some nice coffee but I am mainly just running on adrenaline from having a strict, impending deadline. I have now redrafted and entire case for support which is ALMOST ready to send to my supervisor. However I'm not quite happy with the methods section.

I now need to get ready to go away for the evening though, damn. I will try and get it done before I leave but it may have to be tomorrow when I get back.

I have drafted out the methods section (this is for a grant application, rather than my entire methods chapter!).

My next goal is to tidy up the data and ethics sections.

Pink numbers, 1500 sounds like a lot to me! I guess my goals vary depending on my deadlines. I think I average about 1000 words a day if I try though.

I am really struggling with the methods section. I have done half of it. I WILL do the rest of it before having a break and showering!

Morning everyone. My laptop is very, very ill at the moment. :-( I am having to use my boyfriend's. Thank god I save 2 copies of everything as I go along and work straight off a memory stick.

My goal for this morning is to try and get my case for support done. The methods section needs work so I'll start there.

I have done the project resources. I am really starting to flag now. I am going to move on to the application form for the Postdoc (I have been working on the small grant all day) and will just fill out whatever sections I feel like I can manage.

Thanks for the encouragement! I am really starting to struggle now though. I feel like I need to work late though. My supervisor said I really need to blast it all weekend but I have to travel back to my home town for a party tomorrow which I really can't get out of. ugh.

The maximum is 6 pages and it is now 5 pages. :-) I need to fill it out but I'm goin to save it for tomorrow when I'm fresh. I have put references into my introduction and emailed it to my supervisor. It took me ages longer than it should have because my laptop completely freaked out. I think I can forget the idea I had that I'd be going to the gym tonight. :-(

Just back from my meeting with my supervisor. She needs the draft of my grant application much sooner than I'd hoped. I am just going to have to accept that she won't get a chance to give feedback on some of it. I have done the best I can in the time I have and that's all I can do.

I have finished my introduction section, apart from putting in some references which I'll do when I'm tired and can't face writing.

My supervisor didn't turn up. I just walked up to the library to pick up a ILL and now I'm wondering where the morning went.
