can't find the last one of these threads (not easy to search for random combinations of 'a's, 'r's, 'g's and 'h's). I'm having a really bad day! Should have stayed at home :-(

But Stu, even though I don't use my battery much either, laptops are supposed to be not just compact and pretty but mobile.

I've been searching the web and found a site that said it was Dell's recharging system that was to blame (was incompatible with Sony batteries - don't you think that's something they should have checked before selling 4 million of them?!) That made me feel a bit better about my Vaio.
