Farewell all- the time has come

Hope it goes well. Good luck for the future.

I would assume that they're asking you to call back next week because they haven't made a decision yet, or that the supervisor was too busy at the time to talk to you there and then. From the sounds of it, I don't think they've done anything wrong.

Oz, for the laughing face type: psycho in brackets!

So pretty much a double celebration then - Sue's been posting since April 2005. Two years is definitely worthy of an award. Maybe they should offer a free weekend in the PGF team in Cleethorpes?

I'd like to include Antipodeans, but as we lost the Ashes to them, it wouldn't be appropriate!

Very true, perhaps a fitting gift. Of course, we won't mention the time when I disappeared into the PGForum afterlife.

There are alot of people I'd like to thank in helping me in my achievement - the PGForum team for being marvellous (does sucking up improve my case?), the legend that is (or was) DanB, H, Tricky, 404, DJWickid, Insomniac, Athina, SixKitten, Ann, Sue, Lamb, Stu, DriventoInsanity.

Significant others include the 10 Angry African women, the ornithologist,Stanford Man (I wonder how he's doing?) and the Dutch bloke in Glasgow who has a contract out on me!

Most of all, I'd like to thank god.

Have I forgotten anyone Coastman?

Awww thanks Coastman. I'm wondering if I qualify for the PGForum mousemat yet? Or perhaps a PGForum mug?

One year today of posting mindless drivel and useless advice on this forum. And because I know you're all keen enthusiasts, here is my first ever post!

It's taken us almost exactly 3 years to get to 1000. Presumably, we can lookforward to post 10,000 in 2034 and post 100,000 in 2304. I can't wait.

I think there are one or two Oxbridge posters on here who might be able to help. I'd love to help myself but as I'm not at Oxbridge I'm not worthy!

enough experience ?

Usually a 2:2 is okay for a Masters. It does beg the question though, what do you see as so important about doing a Masters that it is worth giving up your job? Or rather, what do you intend to do afterwards?

Ah, you say that 404, but then it was 999 replies, therefore making your post the 1000th post and mine the 1000th reply.

Sounds like you got a bit carried away. To be brutally honest, I don't think it will have endeared you to them, but hopefully they will realise that you are best candidate and give it you anyway!
