Happened to notice that our MSN accounts allow us to blog. Anyone fancy starting a blog of their PhD experiences? Time, persistence and boredom permitting, I might keep one through my PhD. I guess anonymity will be essential though! What do we think?

Sorry for the slow response on this. I can't talk about experience, but a general point is that you have many years to think about your job, whereas opportunities to do PhDs don't come around very often. So long as you are aware of the slog involved and that your motivated to get through it, you should grasp this opportunity with both hands.
