Sylvester, I definately agree with your first point; if you're registered to vote at your University town, do you know who the councillors are, what their views are and what they stand for?

In that case, I suppose you're just voting for the party as a whole, and which one you like/agree with the most.

My poor attempt at humour was because we don't really have enough information to base our suggestions on.

E.g what area of economics would you like to focus on? What were your best modules? Are you interested in a masters that will set you up for academia or a position in industry? Do you have any work experience, so your degree classification wouldn't be as important?

Also, www.eurometeo.com/english/sst does temp and wave info, but not sure if it keeps archived historical data...

Perhaps the database section of the EUCC website would be a good start (www.coastalguide.org). If it doesn't hold the data, it might at least link to some people working in that area.

Or you could send out an email to some coastal mailing lists: check out www.cozone.org.uk or http://earth.boisestate.edu/home/dwilkins/geomorphlist/geomorph-l.htm
