Why Do People Spend So Much Time on the Forum?

In my experience, they are really constructive and no one is looking to shoot you down in flames (I suppose that happens in the viva?!). I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it, but like DanB said, let us know how it goes!

Why the need and the rush to go specifically to Oxbridge? You should really head to a University that has a good research group in what you specifically want to do. Though Cambridge is quite good for some biochem stuff.

Also, things in Oxbridge operate at roughly half the speed of the outside world, so don't expect a reply for a little while yet!
