No on the contrary, I love the place! In fact I'm up there on Monday doing fieldwork for a week.

I'm sorry DanB, but as educational and relevant to today's generation CBeebies may be, I'd choose the likes of Danger Mouse, Batfink, Pob and the Shoe People every time.

Now, if I say yes to some bizarre marrying thing on this forum then it makes me look weird and ever so slightly desperate, and if I say no then I'll be accused of being a commitment-phobe! Blimey, I just can't win...

I'd say Lincolnshire; it might not have sun, sea and sand but it does have rain, sea and mud (if that's close enough for you!)

I was camping on the coast of Dorset with a couple of guys I used to work with, and one of my friend's partner and 3 kids (guess who had to babysit while they went off for their romantic beach walks...) I'm still aching from all the piggy backs!

There was also a bit of time for some off-duty coastal monitoring (agghhh my PhD follows me everywhere )
