Your institute should stock them so you can buy it from there or maybe borrow one. Or alternatively Sigma (which sells lab stuff) may have them.

golfpro I was only asked about paying the fees once I was accepted. Which makes sense. Neither places I got accepted knows how I could fund the course (one I can't even and they never checked before hand).

They don't care about your background and accent, it is all about having the right requirements. I never had an interview with any of the places I got accepted to.

At the uni I recently graduated in, my advisor told me students who got a 2:2 (under 60%) all got distinctions. Anyway it doesn't depend on your mark (unless you did so badly you don't know your stuff). It depends how hard you work and how well the uni teaches etc.

What's the funding got to do with your mark? If you're unsure on how you achieved your mark ask your lecturer.

According to a book of mine on how to write a paper, there's no agreed order. So sometimes it's alphabetical or they take turns. But the first authors tends to be one that done most of the research. I think the last author tends to be the person who funded the project or was in charge of the lab. The one in-between assisted. It becoming more and more common for everyone (even technicians who just washed equipment) to be listed so the number of authors listed are increasing.
