Is a top-up bachelor's degree eligible for a masters scholarship?
A

Hello all,

A little concern makes me confused and lost. So here goes...

I hold a bachelor's degree (hons) in Finance. This degree was a top-up one (meaning I had to successfully finish 2-year advanced diploma before I could enroll to one-year top-up degree).

Now I am applying for a scholarship for my upcoming master degree. The criteria of the scholarship is merely based on past education merit. Eventhough I graduated with First Class Hons, I still feel insecured as my degree was not the traditional four-year one.

What if the school finds my degree not good enough to be awarded the scholarship? Has anyone encountered the same problem before? Will my chance of being awarded master scholarship be quite limited due to my "top-up" degree?

Thanks so much.
