Hi, I was wondering if someone could offer a few words of wisdom as I have got myself in a bit of a muddle around the process of analysis and as much as I read the Charmaz (2006) book, I am none the clearer. I line by line coded the first 3 interviews and this then informed some changes to the interview schedule. I've since been putting all my energy into the recruitment and so forgot the analysis part for a while. Now coming back to it I wondered: do I continue to line by line code (then focus code) the subsequent interviews one by one feeding and building on to the existing ideas of potential concepts (which in all honesty I have forgotten since!)? All the while making memos? Not sure why I feel so lost with this, perhaps all my energy was tied into recruitment and now I'm at the next hurdle with a looming deadline!! Any advice would be really gratefully received!!!
