Despite all the schooling many people learn nothing. It is not until you have the desire to learn that you actually do learn. Many many people do not want to learn anything and fight any new knowledge even if it's coming from a leading expert.

I saw such a case yesterday when some one posted a lecture from a professor, lots of answers had obviously totally disregarded the fact it was a genuine lecture and not a Youtube hoax. They do not bother to check any credentials so they can dismiss it offhand.

Bunch of ostriches burying their heads in the sand. But their problems are theirs, if they want to remain ignorant that is their prerogative.
