Hello, I plan to go to York to do a masters this year. I'd like to move there around July - August time. I want to live with my boyfriend who won't be a student and we want to share a house with other people, preferably other students.
Does anybody know how it works with council tax? I want to share a room with my boyfriend. If he is the only non student in the house would he have to pay council tax for the whole house on his own?
Also, as I would want to move there about 2-3 months before I become a student, how would that work out with council tax?
Thanks for any tips!
Hello,
I have two interviews at different universities for NERC funding. I would like to go for both so that I have a higher chance of getting funding somewhere! There is one i'd rather do but i can't afford to do a masters without funding.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to go for two interviews? Or are you restricted to just one?
Thank you.
Hello, I have an interview for funding next month at Edinburgh University for the MSc in Plant Diversity and Taxonomy.
If you've had and interview for NERC funding before it'd be great to hear about it and if you have any tips please let me know!
Are the questions mainly based on your knowledge of the course?
How long was the interview and with how many interviewers?
