Thanks Thecoastman for your advice. Here in the Caribbean there are not many schools that would offer a PhD in environmental science, so we have travel out of the region to do so. I prefer to study in the UK, so I'll try and get hooked up with a university in the UK. Right now I am looking at University of Birmingham; there seems to be some interesting projects there that I would like to be a part of.
Thanks Tricky! I am living in the Caribbean, and I was just wondering if could stay here while pursuing a PhD programme in Environmental Science. We are in the process of setting up an environmental lab (analytical and wet lab) at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in the British Virgin Islands, and I was hoping to be able to do my research projects at the lab, while I visit ba campus for other required projects. I guess that I will just have to bite the bullet and head back to the UK to do resaarch if I can't find another way.
It seems as though there are no schools in the Europe that offer a PhD in environmental science/mamagement online. What about those that may be offering such a programme partly online and partly on campus? Anyone with any relevant information please let me know.

I have completed the MSc in Applied Marine Science, and now I would like to pursue a PhD in environmental sciences/management online. I have not been able to find a university in the UK that offers such a programme. If there is anyone who has information on such a programme, I will be very grateful for that information. Thanks for your assistance.
