Hi everyone!
I have applied for 2 PhD positions offered by 2 co-workers professors.
I met one of those in person and few weeks later I received an email by the other professor saying that "the evaluation committee is very positive about tour application" and I had a Skype interview with him the following day. He said to me if I could reach his lab during the interview day with other short-listed applicants but then the two professors said that they decided that is not necessary that I will reach again the lab, since I had already met one of them in person and the other one via Skype.
They also said that they will most likely decide on Monday (2 days ago).
I am waiting for and email. Do you think is normal that I haven't received and email yet? Or probably I am not been selected?
What should I do?
Thank tou very much for your help!
Thank you for your useful answers!
Hi everyone, I sent my CV to a professor for a PhD position. He was interested and we had a phone interview. After that, I received an email from him saying that I was selected for an interview in the lab and the travel expenses will be covered by the University. Do I have a good chance to get the position in your opinion? Many thanks!
