Is it true that international students are favored over domestic students because they pay more fees?

Are you a geek? I ask this in the nicest possible way. I'm the first to admit that I'm a bit of a geek, obsessed with all things History. I just wondered how many MA/PhD students think of themselves as a geek, and how many think this is just a ridiculous stereotype?

I applied for a Masters Degree in late Novmber and still haven't heard anything. Should I sit tight or follow it up? I kind of need to know and am just wondering how long they could keep me hanging on! Thanks, Tom.
