I am trying to get into graduate school and I am hearing from advisors that there is not enough money to fund another graduate student (me). This is the only thing that is delaying my application process. I am not asking to be a T.A. and I would fund myself for the time being. I just want to get in, fund myself and then after a semester try to get funding.

If I mention that I am doing my self-funding would this help?
