Dear friends,

I am facing little problem regarding the degrees name..
One of the normal postgraduate degree is Master of Science ( MS/MSc.) in ___(any course).
and other degree name is Master of ____(any course)

for example.:
there is a postgraduate degree: Master of Science in IT (1 yr)
and other offered degree is Master of IT.(2yrs/1.5 yrs)

is there any difference between both.

like MBA is a professional Degree names as Master of Business Administration,.
but technical degree always names as Master of Science ____(course )
is Master of Information Technology ( short name MIT) of 2 years Valid ???
